Forsyth man hits tree in fatal accident

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Forsyth man died in a single car accident on Highway 42.

According to a news release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 9:00 a.m., Tuesday.

20-year-old Taylor Lewis Dell lost control of his 1997 Lexus sedan, spinning several times before striking a tree.

Authorities believe weather conditions play a factor in the accident
