Forsyth Main Street to host Fall Festival, Community Yard Sale

The event will be September 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Downtown Forsyth. 

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Forsyth Main Street is hosting a fall festival and community yard sale.

Main Street Forsyth Coordinator, Kemie Childs, says the last time they had the community yard sale was before the Covid-19 pandemic. Childs says the city wanted to bring back the yard sale and start a fall festival.

The event will be September 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Downtown Forsyth.

Childs says the Main Street Community Yard Sale is an opportunity to repurpose unwanted items and find new treasures. Attendees can purchase pre-owned household items including furniture, clothing, tools, decorations, toys, and electronics.

There will be food trucks, local vendors, and a Kids Park at the fall festival.
