Forsyth Goes Hollywood for Holiday Parade
For many, Forsyth’s Hometown Holidays Parade is an annual tradition. This year’s theme is “Holidays on the Silver Screen.” Forsyth-Monroe County Director of Tourism Karen Manus-Pennings joined us on the 41NBC news at 6pm with the rundown.
Parade participants will incorporate this year’s theme into floats and decorations. They can use movies from the past and present.
The Hometown Holidays Parade has been named a “Top 20 Event in the Southeast.” Manus-Pennings says she thinks the recognition comes from the hometown feel and family friendly atmosphere.
The Hometown Holidays Parade is Thursday, December 1, in downtown Forsyth. The parade starts at 7pm.
