Former Warner Robins Mayoral Candidate Lee Remaing Neutral in Runoff
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Councilman and former candidate for Warner Robins Mayor, Daron Lee, has decided not to endorse a candidate in the runoff race for the mayor’s seat.
In an e-mail sent to 41NBC, Lee wrote: “After much in-depth thorough consideration and wise political counsel, the Lee campaign has decided to remain neutral for future political reasons. We will indeed support the incoming Office of Mayor of the City of Warner Robins and the members of council in all endeavors as we strive together to be a progressive, productive and inclusive “International City” in the Middle Georgia Region and the state of Georgia.”
After a recount was done by the elections team, the numbers showed came in fourth place behind Chuck Chalk for the mayor’s seat.
Randy Toms and Joe Musselwhite are facing off in the December 3rd runoff race.
