Former Dooly State Prison officer accused of smuggling drugs, having sexual contact with inmate
26-year-old Ahryanna Trice of Montezuma is charged with violation of oath of public office and possession of items prohibited for inmates, according to warrants filed October 3 in Dooly County Magistrate Court.

DOOLY COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A former corrections officer at Dooly State Prison is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say she had sex with an inmate and smuggled drugs and other contraband into the facility, according to court documents.
26-year-old Ahryanna Trice of Montezuma is charged with violation of oath of public office and possession of items prohibited for inmates, according to warrants filed October 3 in Dooly County Magistrate Court.
Trice was employed as a corrections officer at Dooly State Prison at the time of the alleged offenses, the warrants state.
Investigators say Trice brought 90.72 grams of ecstasy, 99.79 grams of marijuana, five packs of cigarettes, 10 packs of Top rolling papers, three pairs of socks and four pre-rolled tobacco rolls into the prison between 6:17 a.m. and 11 a.m. on October 2. The warrant alleges she intended to give the items to an inmate.
A separate warrant accuses Trice of violating her oath of office by having sexual intercourse with an inmate and by bringing contraband into the prison.
