Former Director of Dublin VA faces more charges in child molestation case
The two additional charges that have been added are another count of child molestation and one count of computer or electronic pornography.
(UPDATE 2/19/2025): According to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office, new charges have been added to Manuel Davila.
Davila now faces four counts of child molestation and four counts of computer or electronic pornography.
The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office did confirm Davila was out on bond.

LAURENS COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Manuel Davila on several felony charges related to child molestation.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Fairview Park Hospital for a potential child molestation case on March 25.
Investigators arrested Davila on March 26.
In a press release, the Sheriff’s Office says he’s facing several charges:
- Four counts of Child Molestation
- Cruelty to Children, 1st Degree
- Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes
This case is still under active investigation.
