Former Crisp County teacher arrested for child molestation

CRISP COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office arrested a teacher for aggravated child molestation.

38-year-old Allison Griswold was arrested on May 1 after a mandated reporter notified the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office about evidence of improper sexual contact between a teacher and a juvenile. Griswold was fired moments before the arrest.

Griswold is charged with aggravated child molestation, improper sexual contact by an employee, two counts  of obscene telephone contact with a child, and carrying weapons within the school safety zone.
