Former Bibb Schools Superintendent to appear in court on Friday

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Former Bibb Schools Superintendent Dr. Romain Dallemand will appear in court this Friday.

Mauldin & Jenkins’ motion to dismiss Dallemand’s lawsuit will be hear in Collier County, Florida. Dallemand filed the suit against the Macon accounting firm because he claims it published false information about him in a 2013 audit.

The attorney for Mauldin & Jenkins said the case should be heard in Bibb County, not Florida. The motion asks the Florida judge to dismiss the case.

Dallemand can refile in Bibb County within 120 days if the judge rules in favor of Mauldin & Jenkins.
