Former Bibb schools superintendent files another lawsuit against Macon accounting firm
Dallemand claims he was “unjustly targeted and victimized and held out to public scorn and ridicule” which resulted in “the loss of the Plaintiff’s license as an educator,” according to the complaint. It accused Mauldin & Jenkins of publishing false information about Dallemand in a 2014 audit.
“We think they’re baseless and we’re going to file a pre-discovery motion to dismiss the claims. Some on procedural grounds, some on substance grounds, but at the end of the day, its just baseless,” said William Newcomb, the attorney representing Mauldin & Jenkins.
The complaint doesn’t say how much money Dallemand is seeking. 41NBC reached out to Dallemand, but we haven’t heard back.
Dallemand first filed a lawsuit against Mauldin & Jenkins in March 2015 in Collier County, Florida. Newcomb filed a motion to dismiss shortly after stating the case didn’t have any ties to Florida and shouldn’t be argued there. A judge dismissed the lawsuit in May.
