Flint Energies Searches for Members Owed Refunds

Flint Energies is searching for 14,000 members that are owed refunds.

The company refunds capital credits in the fall of every year. Active members due a refund received a credit on their Flint bill and members that no longer get their electric service from Flint are mailed a check.

However, many former members have moved away from the company’s service without leaving a forwarding address. Many of these members likely have family or friends living in the area that could notify them that Flint owes them a refund.

To see if you or someone you know is on the list of unclaimed capital credits, visit Flint’s website at www.flintenergies.com/unclaimedcapitalcredits.aspx. If your name is on the list, or if you have accurate addresses for anyone on the list, call Flint at (800)342-3616 ext. 5203.

To receive a capital credit refund, you will be required to provide proof of identity to claim ownership.
