Flint Energies Reporting 18,000+ Without Power

GEORGIA (WMGT/41NBC) – Flint Energies is reporting approximately 18,012 consumer-members in the service area are without power following Hurricane Michael.

Chief Operating Officer Ty Diamond says the storm is a catastrophic event that will likely take five to six days to repair.

Diamond reports 305 outages affecting more than 18,000 members, spread from Columbus to Warner Robins.

Flint brought in extra crews from Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina and Arkansas to assist with restoration.

Flint will have crews working around the clock until all members are restored.
