Flash Foods gas station hit with robbery
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Bibb County Sheriff Deputies are investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place this Sunday morning around 3:00 A.M. at the Flash Foods, 4700 Hartley Bridge Road.
Deputies reported that a black male subject entered the business and went straight to the clerk who was working near the coffee station in the store.
The suspect ordered the clerk to open the cash register and give him money and cigarettes.
After getting an undisclosed amount of cash and the cigarettes the suspect ordered the clerk to go into the ladies restroom and count to 20 before coming out.
The suspect was reported to have a paper bag covering his right hand, which the clerk thought he may have been holding a weapon in it. No weapon was seen.
No one was injured during the incident.
