Chips Ahoy Baked Bites Brookies expanded to more carton units
Mondelez Global has expanded a voluntary recall of Chips Ahoy Baked Bites Brookies to include additional carton units, following an initial recall in December.
The company says an incorrect mixing process resulted in small clumps of corn starch in the product. The clumps pose a choking hazard, particularly for children and the elderly.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says the recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution. No illnesses have been reported.
The recall applies exclusively to Chips Ahoy Baked Bites Brookies with “best when used by” dates of May 20–26.
More than 450,000 Chrysler vehicles recalled over trailer brake defect
More than 450,000 Chrysler vehicles are under recall due to a defect that could cause trailer brake lights or trailer brakes to fail, traffic safety officials say.
Faulty modules may prevent trailer brake lights from illuminating or cause trailer brakes to stop working altogether, increasing the risk of a crash.
The recall covers 2026 Jeep Cherokees; 2024, 2025 and 2026 Jeep Wagoneer S models; and 2025 and 2026 Ram 1500 through 5500 series trucks. Dealers will replace the defective modules at no charge.

PurSteam is recalling nearly 200,000 steamers after the company determined they can expel water and cause burns.
The recall covers certain “Mighty Lil” and “Elite Travel” steamers purchased after December 2020. Specific date codes for affected units are listed on the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website.
