Five Georgia High School seniors to receive free laptops through giveaway

Applications for the Farah & Farah’s Georgia Laptop Giveaway are due by June 3.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Farah and Farah will be giving away free laptops to five Georgia High School seniors through their Empowering Greatness Scholarship program.

Alex Fadoul with Farah and Farah says that students must attend a Title 1 school in Georgia to be eligible for the Georgia Scholarship.

Fadoul says that applicants will also need to demonstrate outstanding academic performance and dedicated community engagement.

An essay or video submission will be required for those applying. Applications are due by June 3. Participants and winners will be notified of the results by July 1.
