Macon Restaurant Week brings exclusive menus and big dining discounts

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Macon’s first Restaurant Week begins Friday, bringing discounts, exclusive menus and prize opportunities to downtown diners.

Macon Magazine and NewTown Macon are partnering to host the event.

Susannah Cox Maddux, publisher of Macon Magazine, said more than a dozen downtown businesses are participating.

She said restaurants are preparing exclusive dishes for the weeklong event, with four price points starting at $10.

Diners can join by picking up a passport and getting it stamped at each participating restaurant for a chance to win prizes, including a $500 gift card to a restaurant of their choice.
