Fire Chief gets National Award

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Chief Marvin Riggins received the IAFC Fire Chief of the Year award.

The International Association of Fire Chiefs and Pierce Manufacturing Incorporated chose Riggins for his leadership, innovation, professional development, integrity, and contribution to the fire department according to Fire Chief.

Riggins was given this award alongside a volunteer fire chief in North Carolina.
