Fighting for Reproductive Freedom Bus visits Macon
The deadline to register to vote in Georgia is October 7. Early voting begins October 15.

Excited supporters greeted the bus.
Tina Hobson, a big supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for the White House, says she believes Harris will make a difference for women’s reproductive freedom and rights.
“Some of these laws are impacting IVFs,” she said. “They’re impacting other things that people didn’t really think about, but I think people need those choices because it impacts their ability to get education. It impacts their abilities to make economic decisions. That’s going to affect the rest of their lives.”
Attendees gathered in the Round Building to hear stories from women who spoke about their personal experience of losing their reproductive rights after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
Other speakers on hand included former Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms and U.S. Representative Nikema Williams.
“There is only one person who is willing to fight for them and make sure that they can make personal medical decisions and consultations with their doctor, and that is Vice President Harris,” Williams said. “When we make Kamala Harris the next President of the United States, we will all have a fighter in her, looking out for our freedoms.”
As Harris supporters left the Round Building, they heard Evangelist Blake Fuller from Operations Gospel Church discussing equal protection for all babies over a portable microphone.
