Fight Prompts Code Red at Perry High School

A domestic dispute call to police this afternoon prompted Perry High School to go into code red today.

According to Captain Heath Dykes with the Perry Police Department, the school was placed on lockdown after police received a report of a man fighting with his girlfriend in the neighborhood near the school.

The report to police was that the man had a gun.

Investigators later determined that the man had left the area and the code red was lifted after about an hour.
