Fight at Westside High School Sends One Bibb County Student to Hospital, One to Jail

MACON, Georgia – A Westside High School student is arrested for allegedly hitting another student during an argument, and sending her to the hospital.

According to the Bibb County Jail website, 19-year-old Antoine Johnson is in jail and charged with battery, disrupting a public school, and affray.

According to a news release from the school district, a male student, who faces those same charges, hit an 18-year-old female student during an altercation resulting in a cut above one of her eyes.

The female was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where she is being treated.

The male student has been suspended from school.
