Fatal car crash Sunday night in Washington County, GSP investigating

The fatal car crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on December 15 on the 1100 Block of Walker Dairy Road outside of Warthen.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after a fatal crash in Washington County on Sunday evening, according to Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran.

The fatal car crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on December 15 on the 1100 Block of Walker Dairy Road outside of Warthen. Sheriff Cochran did confirm the incident was a single vehicle accident.

The initial investigation indicates that the driver lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle overturned causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle during the crash.

The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Steve Gladdin.

The accident is now under investigation by the Georgia State Patrol.
