Families receive supplies at weekend back-to-school giveaway in Macon

Law Office of Mahdi Abdur-Rahman and Grid Chiropractic team up to help local students prepare for class

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Students and parents braced the rain Saturday to receive school supplies and community resources, such as diapers and wipes in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Mahdi Abdur-Rahman, founder and managing partner of the Law Office of Mahdi Abdur-Rahman said, “We choose to give back to the youth because the youth is the future. You know, in the best way that we can help the future is to invest in their education. So, the kids have what they need to excel in school, that means that all of us are going to have a bright future.” 

The owner of Varsity Club, a clothing brand, donated more than 100 pairs of shoes to children during the giveaway.  

The giveaway was presented by the Law Office of Mahdi Abdur-Rahman in partnership with Grid Chiropractic.
