Fall is finally here to stay

Good evening,
The cooler air finally moving into Middle Georgia, but today was yet another warm day in Middle Georgia.

Highs reached the 80’s once again, but it is likely to be the last day in the 80’s for a while. Temperatures have been consistently above average this month, but below average temps are on the way through much of the rest of the month.

The cold front we were watching has moved through and widespread lows in the 50’s are expected overnight with consistent cooling through the end of the week.

The next cold front is going to come through by Saturday bringing a round of showers and storms as well as another blast of cold air. This time it will drop our daily highs into the 60’s.

The next 7 days will be mostly dry, but much cooler and lows will be mainly in the 50’s and 40’s. Be sure to grab the jacket as we head through this week and next week, especially in the evening and early morning hours.
