Fall is here and even colder air is on the way for the weekend

Good evening,
Temperatures have finally started cooling across much of the southeast and that cooling will continue through Friday.

High pressure over our area will be moving out on Friday, which gives way to our next system. The next front is currently in Canada and will be bringing some even colder air our way by Sunday.

Friday will be staying on the cool side with cloud cover expected for much of the day. Highs will struggle to make it into the mid-70’s on Friday, but Friday night will be relatively mild with lows only in the 60’s.

Saturday, expect scattered showers ahead of the much cooler air. Thunderstorms are not expected, but be ready for some pockets of heavier rain.

Next week will continue our fall weather with sunshine to start the week and yet another cold front moving through sometime at the end of the week.
