Espresso Martini Week continues through September 14 in downtown Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Espresso Martini Week is underway in downtown Macon. The event, which started on September 6, continues through September 14.

Emily Hopkins, Vice President of External Affairs and Main Street Manager at NewTown Macon, stopped by 41NBC to talk about the event.

“Events that highlight our culinary offerings attract hundreds of people downtown to support our locally owned and operated businesses,” she said.

Seventeen businesses will offer espresso martini specials. The participants include Black Cat, Braddock’s Cask and Table, The Brick, Circa, JBA, Just Tap’d, Kinjo Kitchen & Cocktails, Longleaf Distilling Co., Hotel Forty Five, Miramar, Oliver’s, Reboot Retrocade & Bar, Reckon at Hotel Forty-Five, Rose Room, Sweet Eleanor’s Divine Desserts, VIBEZ and the Vintage Restaurant at the Marriott.

Customers can pick up a passport to track the specials, and they can also try for a chance to win prizes from the event sponsors, Z Beans Coffee and Longleaf Distilling Co.

Customers can also vote on their favorite special. The business with the most votes will be crowned the Martini Master.
