Employees at Wendy’s on Gray Highway robbed at gunpoint

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –  Bibb deputies are investigating an armed robbery incident that happened around 9:30 PM at the Wendy’s restaurant on Gray Highway.

The suspect–described as a black male–walked into the restaurant, pointed his gun and demanded money from the cashier. Employees say the man took an undisclosed amount of money and  took off on foot.

The suspect was wearing what appeared to be an ACE bandage around his face, a black hoodie and blue Dickey pants.

No one was injured but there were nearly a dozen employees present during the time of the robbery.
