Elderly woman dead after car crash in Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A woman is dead after a car crash on Presidential Parkway Sunday afternoon.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office reported 76-year-old Rosaland Walker’s car was struck head-on after Manishkumar Patel’s vehicle crossed the center line. It happened between Bishop Road and Billy Williamson Road.

Walker and her 9-year-old grandson were taken to the hospital. Walker was pronounced dead by doctors. Her grandson is in stable condition.

The 28-year-old Patel was also taken to the hospital. He is listed in critical condition.
