Eight Suspects Indicted in Nightclub Shooting

MACON, Georgia ( 41NBC/WMGT) – Eight people have been indicted in connection with the murder of 17-year old Jamonni Bland, who was shot and killed outside of the Zodiac Lounge.

Andre Bonner, John Hollingshed Jr., Miranda Pettiway, Johnifer Barnwell, Arthur Freeman III, Percy Welch Jr., Jimmy Scott III, and Kiyo Johnson, were all indicted Tuesday by a Bibb County Superior Court grand jury.

The incident happened July 5, in the Zodiac Lounge’s parking lot around 3:30 a.m. Zodiac Lounge is located near the intersection of Walnut Street and Broadway in Macon.

According to arrest warrants, Hollingshed shot Deon Davis eight times at close range, then passed the gun to suspect Andre Bonner, who shot Bland five times.

Three other people were injured during the shooting, including Davis.

Hollingshed and Bonner have both been identified as the alleged gunmen in the night club shooting. The warrants also say Hollingshed is seen on surveillance video shooting Davis.
