‘East Side Summit’ News Conference to Discuss Issues of Concern for East Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – City council members representing the east side of town are holding a news conference on Thursday to discuss issues of concern for that area.

The “East Side Summit” will be lead by city council members Elaine Lucas, Rick Hutto and Lonnie Miley. They are expected to discus a variety of topics concerning the East Macon. Lucas tells 41 NBC they’ll discuss new development plans for the area as well as policing and housing issues. She also says this is an opportunity for residents to submit requests for additional information regarding the meeting.
