Early voting begins for special election in Houston County

HOUSTON COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Early voting began on Monday to fill a state representative’s seat in Houston County.

The election is for the District 146 seat. State representative Larry O’Neal resigned this year. Shaw Blackmon, Kelly Burke, and Larry Walker III are running for the seat.

Voting is at the board of elections office in downtown Perry and Central Georgia Technical College. 

Early voting ends July 10. Election day is on July 14.
