Update: Shooting on Cynthia Ave kills one person, injures another

UPDATE: According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, deceased victim identified as 38-yr-old Damond Stevens; 25-yr-old Jacorey Holloway of Macon, also shot during incident

MACON, GEORGIA (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting at an apartment complex on Cynthia Avenue. 

Deputies say they received the call about the shooting just after 12:30 this morning. When deputies arrived, they found two male victims.

Paramedics took the victims to The Medical Center, Navicent Health. Deputies say the first victim, 25-year-old Jacorey Holloway of Macon, had non-life-threatening injuries. The second victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
