Early Morning Crash in Houston County Kills 2, Seriously Injures 1

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — An early morning car accident in Houston County killed two people and sent one to the hospital in serious condition.

A news release from the Houston County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened around 2:00 am at the intersection Houston Lake Road and Wrasling Way.

34 year-old Evelena Adams and 35 year-old Demarko Howard, both of Macon, were traveling Northbound on Houston Lake Road when they collided head-on with another vehicle in the Southbound lane. Adams and Howard died on the scene.

The driver of the other car, 25 year-old Samantha Scroggins of Bonaire, was extricated from her car and transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia in serious condition.

Alcohol is considered a factor in this accident. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact the Houston County Sheriffs Office Traffic Division at 478-542-2080.
