E.L High School Home Study Academy Receives High School Accreditation
The city of Macon has a new high school!
E.L. High School Home Study Academy was accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission.
The school is owned and directed by former educator Elaine Lucas,
who is also a city council member. The high school academy will accept dropouts who are at least 16 years old.
“As an educator I saw many students who dropped out of school, and many of them were pushed out of school,” says Lucas. “But now it really doesn’t matter what the reason is that a person drops out of school. The big, important point now is that we have the ability to assist high school dropouts in completing and earning their high school diploma.”
Students interested in attending the school, just need to submit an application for a $50 application fee and send in an official transcript.
