Dublin residents arrested on multiple drug trafficking, firearm charges
On August 7, the GBI Middle Georgia Gang Task Force executed a search warrant at a home on the 500 block of Pine Street in Dublin.

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT-DT) – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested and charged two Dublin residents following a drug trafficking investigation in Laurens County, according to a news release.
36-year-old Brantley David Johnson and 49-year-old Makesha Latrise Johnson were charged with multiple counts including trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy and cocaine, possession of firearms during the commission of a felony, and other drug-related offenses. Makesha Johnson also faces a charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.
On August 7, the GBI Middle Georgia Gang Task Force executed a search warrant at a home on the 500 block of Pine Street in Dublin. Agents seized 461 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 321 grams of suspected powder cocaine, 24 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 15 grams of suspected ecstasy, unspecified quantities of suspected oxycodone and alprazolam, an AR-style rifle, a handgun, and $5,390 in cash.
Both were booked into the Laurens County Jail.
