Dublin-Laurens County Welcome Center Earns Prestigious Award

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Dublin-Laurens County Welcome Center received a prestigious award from the state.

It is recognized as a Regional Visitor Information Center. Rebecca McWilliam with Visit Dublin tells 41NBC this means it meets and exceeds the state’s standards of providing information on the communiyt.

While there is not monetary award, McWilliam says it will allow them to promote a part-time employee to full time as well as higher an additional full time employee. McWilliam says this will also help drive business to the area.
