Dublin Fighting Irish going into 2015 with new QB
Last season, Dublin finished 4-2 in Region 3, Double A and saw their season end in the first round of the playoffs at the hands of Macon County.
2014’s offense was able to put up 26.9 points a game, but will now need to replace their prior quarterback. A potential candidate for the position may come in the form of a converted running back, Ramon Pittman.
Defensively, the Irish were able to hold opponents to only 18 points a game, but will need to replace several key linemen. Coach Holmes knows the players he has coming in could be a little small, but understands an increase in speed and quickness may overcome any lack of size.
Dublin’s first game will be at Laney on August 21st. The first home game will be a week later against Johnson County.
