Dublin Adult Novelty Store Robbed at Knifepoint

Laurens county deputies arrested 29-year-old Joseph Southwell Tuesday for allegedly robbing a clerk at the Fantasy World novelty store the night before.

A release from the sheriff’s office says around 7:30 p.m. Monday, Southwell entered the store located on Highway 441 in Dublin, threatened a female employee with a knife, took cash from the register and stole the employee’s car. 

Deputies recovered the stolen items today and charged Southwell with armed robbery and theft of a motor vehicle.  More charges are pending.
