Dry air in place is just temporary

MACON, Georgia. (41NBC/WMGT) – Yesterday’s cold front brought showers to Middle Georgia but left us with drier air.

TODAY.

A high pressure center in the Carolinas is going to keep us dry for the next few days. Under a mostly sunny sky this afternoon we will see temperatures in the middle 80’s. Overnight tonight temperatures will fall into the upper 50’s and lower 60’s under a mostly clear sky.

TOMORROW.

More of the same is on the way for your Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly warmer in the upper 80’s, but a mostly sunny sky is still going to greet us! Tomorrow night we will once again see temperatures falling into the lower 60’s under a mostly clear sky.

EXTENDED FORECAST.

We stay dry through Wednesday before an unsettled weather pattern settles into the Deep South. On Thursday we have the chance for isolated showers, but rain chances increase as we go into the weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will traverse the region as we go throughout the region as waves of energy move through Middle Georgia.Dry
