Driver charged with DUI after deadly pedestrian crash in Macon
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly pedestrian crash on Eisenhower Parkway.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly pedestrian crash on Eisenhower Parkway.
Deputies say the crash happened just before 9:30 Sunday night at the intersection of Heron Street. Investigators say a Chevrolet Camaro was traveling west on Eisenhower Parkway when it struck a 61-year-old man who was crossing the road in dark clothing. Coroner Leon Jones later pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Deputies identified the driver as Dadrean Rashard Felton of Macon. Investigators say Felton was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody.He is charged with DUI and is being held without bond.
The victim’s name has not been released as investigators work to notify family members.
