MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Downtown Dublin is set to host the 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off and Fall Festival.
The event will be October 19 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m . at the Market on Madison.

Lucas Cowart with Morris Bank says Downtown Dublin businesses are encouraged to participate in a scarecrow competition, which will be voted on during the Fall Festival.
“Just community coming out and the camaraderie, and everyone getting together after all the struggles we mentioned with Hurricane Helene,” says Cowart. “Actually, we still have some without water and power that are trying to get their services back so we’re just trying to do this for the community.”
Attendees can sample the homemade chili by purchasing tasting tickets:
- 1 ticket: $1
- 7 tickets: $5

Main Street Manager, Lauren Patterson, says there will be inflatables, rides, face painting, and yard games for children at the Fall Festival. There will also be live music from DJ Brandon Chain.
