Douglas Man Arrested in Macon, Wanted for Rape

36-year old Tyrone Bernard Green was arrested in Macon this morning.  He was wanted for a New Year’s Day rape and assault of woman in Douglas, Georgia.

Douglas detectives found out that Green could be hiding at a home in Macon and alerted the U.S. Marshals Service, Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.

When the task force arrived at the home, Green was taken arrested and taken to the Bibb County Jail.  He will be transferred to the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office.

He’s charged with rape, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and battery.
