Double Homicide in Houston County

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men were found dead in Houston County Monday. Houston Sheriff’s Office said they found out about the incident around 5 a.m. The incident happened at a house located in the 100 block of Chadwick Road in West Houston County.

The bodies were located around 12:30 p.m., in a wooded area near Georgia Highway 41/49 and North Houston Lake Road. However, investigators said the two men were shot and killed at the house. A news release sent to 41NBC says investigators found evidence the men were killed then moved from the home into the woods.

When asked how far away the house was from the woods where the bodies were located, Sgt. Greg Pennycuff said “It was quite aways away.”

A man was taken into custody, although authorities have not released his identity.
