Domestic Dispute Turns Violent in Lizella

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb Sheriff’s office is investigating a violent domestic dispute around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night.

According to a news release from the Bibb Sheriff’s office, 55-year-old Kenneth Burnam and his wife Diane, 48, of Lizella were in a domestic dispute at their home on Lineberger Road.

Burnam shot his wife, then shot himself. Both were rushed to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

According to the Medical Center staff, Kenneth Burnam is in critical, but stable condition.

Diane Burnam is listed in stable condition.
