Deputies search for car involved in hit and run

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a for vehicle that was involved in a hit and run that happened on December 18.

According to a news release, the vehicle is gray or silver, 2006 to 2010 Nissan Maxima or Nissan Altima.

The incident happened around 10:00 p.m on Rocky Creek Road at Ashland Drive.

A resident found the victim, 49-year-old Ralph Stephens, laying outside in the middle of the roadway after hearing a loud noise outside their home.

Stephens was taken a local hospital.
