Deputies: Man hit by car in downtown Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was hit by a car Wednesday night in downtown Macon.
Deputies say it happened near the intersection of Cherry Street and Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard just after 8:30.
According to the sheriff’s office, the pedestrian was taken to the hospital in stable condition. Deputies say the incident is under investigation.
