Deputies arrest Macon man for cutting someone

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man who knifed another man at the Macon Garden Apartments Sunday has been arrested.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 42-year-old Barrington Richards has been found.

He is charged with aggravated assault and criminal damage to property in the first degree.

Deputies say Richards cut 24-year-old Roger Gibson with a knife at the apartment complex on Mercer University Drive.

Richards saw a text Gibson had sent to Richards’ girlfriend.

Gibson went to the hospital for the cuts and ended up in stable condition.
