Demolition of Tindall Heights to move forward
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Macon-Bibb County Housing Authority announced that the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development approved its application for the demolition of Tindall Heights.
CEO of the housing authority, June Parker says the next step for the demolition to move forward is for the Authority to 390 “Tenant Protection Vouchers” to assist with relocation of residents living at Tindall Heights.
The Authority’s non-profit group, In-Fill Housing Inc., has a pending application with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for allocation of Low Income Housing Tax Credits. If approved it will finance the Tindall Heights.
