Demented Man Leads Warner Robins Police on Chase

WRPD LogoWARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Warner Robins man will be evaluated at the Houston County Medical Center after police say, he made threats toward officers and then led them on a chase.

According to a news release, officers were sent out to 611 McArthur Boulevard to handle a situation with a demented person. When they arrived, 43-year-old Cliff Jacobs began making threats toward law enforcement. The SWAT team was called in for assistance but they weren’t able to set up a perimeter before Jacobs fled the scene in a silver truck.

Jacobs led police on a chase, through Macon, and then back to Warner Robins. He was taken into custody once the chase ended at the Houston Medical Center. Jacobs will receive an evaluation from that hospital.
