Decreasing clouds with the mid and upper 70’s expected today
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Good morning to everyone!! Hope you a good weekend. Over the weekend we saw a decent amount of rainfall anywhere from a half of inch to a inch and a half of rainfall across the area. This morning we are off to a decent start with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s with a bit of cloud coverage. As we head through the first Monday of the month temperatures will warm up in the the mid and upper 70s. We will also see clouds start to decrease throughout the day to partly cloudy, so we will get to see some peeks of sunshine later on today. Temperatures are a bit cooler tomorrow morning in the mid 50s with clouds. Tomorrow we will see rain in the forecast, best chance comes in the late afternoon thru the evening into the overnight hours into your Wednesday . We will see anywhere from a half of inch to a inch tomorrow into Wednesday. Temperature are pretty nice the the 70s for your Thursday with partly cloudy skies. The next rain chance will come Friday into Saturday. This could bring the chance for a few storms, however strength and timing is not know at this time. Another inch to two inches of rain is possible Friday into Saturday. Sunday will be a good day in the 60s. Have a great first Monday in March!!
