Deadly Explosion at Dodge County Mechanic Shop

A deadly explosion at a Dodge County mechanical shop happened around 4:30pm Thursday. An explosion at the shop just outside of Rhine on Will Reeves Road takes the life of the shop owner, 66-year-old Charles Campbell.

According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, a preliminary investigation determined the explosion was the result of a leaking propane tank.

Officials believe the death was accidental.
