Deadly Car Crash on 1-75 Under Investigation

A Marietta woman is dead after an early morning car crash on 1-75 southbound today.

51-year-old Anita Westbrook died after the car she was riding in went off the road, down an embankment and flipped several times. According to a release, she was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver and another passenger, who were wearing seatbelts,
were transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

Investigators still don’t know what caused the crash.
